Online Predators

Ok this podcast was very difficult to do and I took a VERY long time to search my soul and think about it. Even now I am still torn between just walking away and sharing my own personal experience with an online predator. Admitting my own responsibility and actions within that involvement isn’t easy, but I cannot speak of his actions without acknowledging my own.
I wish this person well and hold no anger or malice toward him…this is, after all, only my side of the affair. I do not view him as evil or a monster…just a sad person filling deep dark holes with that which can never fill them. My wish for him is that he finds the courage to want to break free of these destructive patterns and embrace the soul he once gave me a glimpse of.
The “face” of a predator is NEVER what we imagine it to be. My journey into the abyss with this soul ultimately taught me so much about myself…for which I am grateful. I am happy to be free and count myself to be most fortunate that it was only a brief affair that never turned into meeting in person and potentially becoming even more harmful emotionally.
I regret nothing…I come away with deeply valuable lessons learned and owning a personal strength I once only dreamed of….yet more reasons to be grateful for having gone through the fire and touched the dark side.
